High Resolution Melt analysis is a highly accurate method for genotyping, designed to save costs whilst providing simple, powerful and easy to interpret data. Each kit is provided with wild-type, mutant and heterozygous positive controls as well as a ready optimised primer/probe mix for convenient High Resolution Melting analysis of the clinical relevant SNP or mutation of interest. An especially modified DNA probe targets the site of the SNP or mutation of interest. HRM analysis of the probe/target melting adds huge power the quality of data achieved.
